I've been hearing a lot about notary publics and signing agents lately, and I'm a bit confused about the differences between the two roles. Can anyone explain how a notary public differs from a signing agent? Specifically, I'm interested in their responsibilities, training requirements, and the types of documents they handle.
Are there specific situations where you would need one over the other? Also, does anyone have experience working with both, and if so, what were the key differences you noticed in their services?
