I’ve been playing Connections NYT for a while now and wanted to share some strategies that have really helped me improve my game. Here are a few tips I’ve found useful:
- Look for Common Themes: Scan the grid for words that might fit together. Categories can be broad—think about synonyms, antonyms, or even shared cultural references.
- Process of Elimination: If you’re stuck, try grouping words you’re less sure about first. Eliminating options can help clarify the remaining words and reveal potential connections.
- Practice Makes Perfect: The more you play, the better you’ll become at recognizing patterns. Don’t hesitate to revisit previous puzzles to see if you can approach them differently.
- Collaborate with Friends: Playing with friends can provide fresh perspectives. Sometimes, discussing potential connections out loud can spark new ideas!
