To update or reinstall USB drivers on Windows to fix the issue of usb drive not showing up follow the steps:
- Open Device Manager (Windows + X).
- Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
- Right-click the USB device, and choose Update driver.
- If updating doesn’t work, select Uninstall device and restart your computer to reinstall.
